We can rebuild it. Better than it was before. Better, stronger, faster.

So my not-very-old-at-all Macbook Pro just up and died on me.

I would say it was unexpected but I had dropped it around five times.  It was very large (17 inches) and heavy and less portable than your average laptop.  Hence the dropping.

But all is not lost.

It's taken me a couple of days but I'm slowly regenerating (and upgrading!) everything I had on the old computer. Photoshop took a very long time.  They're very protective of  their software so I practically had to give them a blood sample to prove I wasn't trying to download it illegally.

But anyway, this has been my little side trip from life for the past few days.

The upside to all of this is that I have a brand new computer.  It's all pretty.  Slightly smaller and more portable.  And now that I'm slowly putting my stuff back together it's easier to organize it (and back it up more efficiently!)

This was my Facebook status update for today:

...and making brushes too!  FUN!
